TEST METHOD 2

LAS TAMPER SWITCH TOLERANCE TEST

1.  TEST APPARATUS:

a.  Ohmmeter - resolution 10% of reading, accuracy 10% of reading. b.  Ruler - Graduated in 1/16-inch increments.

2.  TEST PROCEDURE:

a.                Connect ohmmeter between terminals TB1-5 and TB1-6.  (Install test leads through conduit access hole.)

b.  Replace cover.

c.  Slowly lift the cover.  The ohmmeter shall indicate opening of tamper

switch contacts with cover movement between 1/16 and 1/4 inch.
